Take What You Need: our mini capsule wardrobe

"Take what you need" — that's the idea behind this mini capsule wardrobe: a few statement pieces, designed to combine with one another rather than sit isolated in a corner of your closet.

No need to wear everything at once, just pick out what you need, day by day.

Here are five ways to do it.

Look #1 — The all-hazelnut look

The overshirt and the pants share the same hazelnut denim, worn together for a total-look effect that doesn't look like one.

Styling tip: button the overshirt like a jacket rather than a shirt — it structures the silhouette and avoids the "two pieces that happen to match" effect.

Pieces in this look: EUGÉNIE overshirt, hazelnut denim [link to add] — LUCIEN wide-leg pants, hazelnut denim [link to add].

Look #2 — The blazer over a white t-shirt

A suede blazer that instantly gives a more put-together look to raw denim jeans and a basic t-shirt.

Styling tip: keep the blazer open and the sleeves unrolled to let the suede breathe — it doesn't like to be overworked.

Pieces in this look: SIMON blazer, chocolate suede [link to add] — [FLORENT t-shirt, white] [link to add] — HORTENSE jean, denim

Look #3 — The snake-print pants and bandana

The snake print carries the outfit on its own; everything else stays minimal so as not to overload it.

Styling tip: tie the scarf bandana-style around the neck, never flat — it's this detail that breaks up the overly neat look of the white t-shirt.

Pieces in this look: [MARCO t-shirt, white] [link to add] — MARIUS barrel pants, snake-print denim [link to add] — N°676 velvet scarf [link to add].

Look #4 — The open camel jacket

The same formula as Look #2, with a warmer, lighter material for daytime.

Styling tip: leave the jacket wide open, without closing or belting it — this is a piece meant to be worn relaxed, not structured.

Pieces in this look: ALIX jacket, camel suede [link to add] — [FLORENT t-shirt, white] [link to add] — HORTENSE jean, denim

Look #5 — The zebra-print pants

The counterpart to Look #3, with a zebra print instead of snake — proof that a single printed pair of pants can completely transform a basic outfit.

Styling tip: keep the same codes as Look #3 (white t-shirt, nothing more) to clearly show that the pants are doing all the work.
